#1 Over the past two years, most of us suffered from the lack of exchange and dialogue. For the graduation show, Rπ moves to KIOSK and changes its rules. The project is open to every master student from every department to create together; music, film & animation, photography, drama, design, visual arts.
#2 To participate, you can bring failed artworks or scraps projects from the 25th until the 30th of June. These should be in-between pieces, never completed, but not raw materials. For instance, it could be sketches, an idea for a performance that never happened, music that was never released, text that you never shared, or any kind of digital work. All the things that make you feel ashamed or that have never found a place in your practice. You have to know that you won’t recover what you brought.
#3 Between the 1st and the 4th of July, you will be able to use each other’s failed projects as raw materials. The idea is to seek a way to coexist and dialogue with each other throught the exhibition space. Your gestures and actions can take up more or less space. Gathering things together or intervene by putting them in space can already be a path for beautiful reflections and productions. The result will be a common work, seen as a whole. In addition, we will provide tools and materials for your intervention but don’t hesitate to bring your own (computer and software, paint, tools for fabric, music instrument, objects,…).
We hope to create the opportunity to rethink what is 'bad' or 'ugly'. To give value back to all those attempts which are the hidden information of the evolution of our practices. We believe in their potential. We hope that this project will make sense to you and that many of you will participate.
